One of the best things about professional organizations, Robert Ivy says, is that they provide a wealth of educational resource, quite a bit of it original content that was researched by staff. This information can help everyone from those just starting out in their chosen profession to those who need to brush up on the latest information.

Almost all professional organizations hold annual conferences. Attending one is a great opportunity to network with others, learn things in workshops, and find out about open positions. Robert Ivy says that one reason these are great is that you can have an open conversation with your peers who likely share the same issues that you do.

Another way a professional organization can help people advance their careers is through collecting credentials. Belonging to one of these makes a professional look more credible to others. You are showing that you are committed to your profession and have high standards for what you do for a living. If you win industry awards you can put these on your resume which definitely helps it stand out.

Robert Ivy says that in most situations it is pretty obvious which association you should join. However, with some professions, you do need to make a choice. One of these more complicated professions is accounting which has over nine national societies to pick from. Visit Archinect to know more about Robert Ivy.

Jens is focusing here on reports that of Brazil’s total 2,796 building projects, 18.5% regard complicated infrastructure. Of those, 86% are sanitation related; highways and other transportation projects compose the remaining amount.

Brazil is currently going through an economic plight, requiring them to cut down severely on funding for these vital works projects. But the National Confederation of Industry also points to another factor in the stoppage: communication difficulties. The public managers (the parties responsible for the implementation of the projects), and the government bodies, do not always interact efficiently, resulting in the delays and stoppages. According to Felipe Montoro Jens, there are several steps which should be taken to improve this situation – better focus on the project’s big picture; a more thought-out step by step strategy for the plan; a more detailed look at the parts of the plan; a good equipment group setup; more even contracts between parties; and an internal group with solid direction.

Jose Augusto Fernandes, a CNI official in charge of policy, cautioned that Brazil needs to take heed of past difficulties in order to experience less capital loss and better facilitate the completion of these vital infrastructure and other important projects.

He made an analysis regarding the decline of the agricultural department for the year 2018.

Based on Flavio’s observations, Brazil’s agricultural status have been declining for different reasons this year. It all started with the truck drivers going on strike; because of that situation, part of the production had to stop. There weren’t enough sugar canes, not enough products for the animals at the farms, there was a shortage of meat, coffee, and more products. The year 2017 was a great year for production, but because of the strike of the truck drivers, which happened due to issues with the price of oil and the road freight; the agriculture of the year 2018 suffered a terrible decrease. According to Flavio, once all the complications are solved, everything should slowly get back in order.
